Energy, Environmental Policy, and the Recession: Impacts of Proposed Federal Policies
On April 30, 2009 the Institute for Regulatory Policy Studies sponsored a one-day conference titled “Energy, Environmental Policy, and the Recession: Impacts of Proposed Federal Policies" at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Springfield, IL. The conference will feature three sessions focusing on
(1) the impacts of emerging federal environmental policies in Illinois and the MIdwest;
(2) expanding transmission capacity: options and implications; and
(3) regulatory policy in the current economic environment.
