The Calm Before the Storm
On December 10, 2009 the Institute for Regulatory Policy Studies is sponsoring a one-day conference titled “The Calm Before the Storm" at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Springfield, IL. The conference will focus on
(1) climate change policy, including current legislative proposals and possible regulatory responses;
(2) the implications for electric and natural gas utilities and producers including utility planning and procurement decisions and rate impacts; and
(3) implications for end-users--industrial, commercial and residential customers--and the implications of Illinois Power Agency constraints.
