Transforming the Electricity Market
On May 10, 2007, the Institute for Regulatory Policy Studies will sponsor a one-day conference titled “Transforming the Electricity Market”, at the President Abraham Lincoln Hotel in Springfield, IL. The conference will feature three sessions focusing on
(1) the role of activities including real-time pricing and conservation in promoting sustainable energy efficiency programs,
(2) increasing the role of renewable energy sources in meeting customer demand, and
(3) facilitating residential customer choice as we move toward increased reliance on competitive markets.
Sessions will include:
