Spring 2015 Conference

"The Utility of the Future!"

The conference will focus on three issues concerning
(1) rethinking the electricity vision,
(2) looking toward the future of water and waste water, and
(3) fueling the future with natural gas.

Session 1 will examine the impact of distributed generation on service reliability, the coordination of markets with microgrids, and the role of the utility with these new developments.

Session 2 will assess definition of waste water and its uses as re-usable biofuels, and examine the improvements and innovations in metering.

Session 3 will examine the role of LDCs, their challenges in rate designs, infrastructure upgrades, and conservation, and assess the interaction of LDCs, pipelines, and generating facilities.
